Co-conspirators Erika + Nicole consult to bring WOCC’s theory of change to life through collaboration with community partners and mission-aligned organizations.
Established in 2018, Women of Color Collaborative is an intentional safe and restorative space for women of color to mitigate the impact of generational and societal trauma. WOCC curates programs and events that center the lived experiences of its co-conspirators who both culturally identify as Black women. As consultants, WOCC centers an individual and collective understanding of power dynamics, with a strong grounding in the principles and practice of equity, justice, and anti-racism.
Our consulting practice grew organically from our nonprofit work. As we built programs centering women of color—through leadership development, youth employment, and community-based storytelling—organizations began turning to us for guidance on how to do the same. They saw the impact of our work and asked us to help them create spaces that were more inclusive, intentional, and equity-driven. Over time, what started as informal advice evolved into a formal offering—rooted in the same values that guide our nonprofit: authenticity, collaboration, and a deep belief in the power of lived experience.
WOCC collaborates with like-minded people of all racial identities to dismantle systems of patriarchy and white supremacy. We create pipelines for transformative engagement by designing experiences rooted in our unwavering commitment to our guiding principles:
Rejection of white supremacist & misogynistic theory, practice and embodiment
Restoration of autonomy over our physical, spiritual and emotional health
Unapologetic embrace of indigenous and edifying practices, understanding, thoughts, and processes
Reclamation of our time, talent and treasure
