POWER Youth High School Internship
This summer WOCC is hosting two interns through Metro’s POWER Youth program. Our interns will:
explore their interests and concerns through the lens of their identities, lived and shared experiences,
leverage their research and design skills to amplify the mission of WOCC,
and deepen their understanding of the local landscape and its impact on the experiences of Black women and girls.
High School Interns make $15 per hour, work independently, and receive pre-program training and coaching. If you know any young women ages 16-18 attending an MNPS school who may be interested in working with us, have them get started in the portal and email erika@workplaybuild.org once they get access.
